Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club opened in 1993, when desert golf in the Middle East was still in its infancy, and it remains one of Dubai's most loved golf clubs. It sits along Dubai Creek, just minutes from Dubai International Airport. Despite the central location, it feels surprisingly peaceful, and it has the atmosphere of a proper members' club.

The 18-hole, par-71 championship golf course measures about 6,967 yards. European Golf Design and Thomas Bjørn gave it a modern update. Fairways are lined with date and palm trees, and artificial lakes add challenge and scenery throughout. The closing stretch is the most famous part of the course. The 17th and 18th both have water running the full length of the fairway, and the run from 16 to 18 has been called Dubai's answer to Carnoustie's finish. Golf World magazine has named Dubai Creek among the world's must-play golf courses. It ranks in the top ten in both the Middle East and the UAE.

It's a complete golf club and marina. There's a PGA-managed golf academy and a pro shop. Six restaurants and bars include the Boardwalk, the Cielo Sky Lounge and QD's waterside lounge, and there's a swimming pool, a fitness centre and tennis courts too. Groups of up to four golfers can play daily.

For visitors staying in Deira, Downtown or near the airport, Dubai Creek is the easiest championship golf course in the city to reach. The creekside setting and skyline views make it a memorable round.

Dubai Creek is a natural place to meet other golfers. With CoGolfers, you can host golf games here and invite members of the CoGolfers community, or join golf games other players have set up.
