Arabian Ranches Golf Club

Arabian Ranches Golf Club was designed by former Open champion Ian Baker-Finch and opened in 2004. It brings authentic desert golf to one of Dubai's best-known residential communities. The 18-hole, par-72 golf course spreads across 247 acres, but only about 120 acres are irrigated. The rest is natural sandy desert, dotted with indigenous shrubs and bushes.

That design shapes how the course plays. Hit the fairway and you'll find lush, well-kept turf. Miss it and your ball will often finish in sandy wasteland among native plants, so accuracy matters on every tee shot. Five sets of tees suit every level, from Championship and Tournament down to Medal, Society and a Ladies/Juniors option.

The club has a traditional members' atmosphere within a resort setting. The Spanish colonial-style clubhouse has restaurants and 11 en-suite guest rooms, so you can stay the night and play an early round. Practice facilities include a floodlit driving range and a Par-3 Academy course, and three resident professionals offer coaching. Clubs and shoes can be rented.

Arabian Ranches is a short drive from Dubai's main landmarks, and it's open daily from early morning until midnight. That makes it convenient for residents of the surrounding communities and for visitors who want desert golf close to the city.

A desert course like this is best shared with friends. On CoGolfers, you can host golf games at Arabian Ranches Golf Club and invite members of the CoGolfers community, or join golf games that other golfers in Dubai have created. It's an easy way to find golf partners, meet golfers who live nearby and connect with golfers near you. Join the community to form your own golf group, organise regular social golf and enjoy the desert fairways with new golf buddies.
