Kota Permai Golf & Country Club

Kota Permai Golf & Country Club in Shah Alam is widely regarded as one of the best-conditioned golf courses in the Klang Valley. Designed by Ross Watson with Nigel B. Douglas and opened in 1998, it's a semi-private club that has become a favourite with serious golfers.

The 18-hole, par-72 layout stretches to about 6,980 yards from the back tees. Bermuda grass on fairways and greens provides consistent surfaces, and the strategic design, with water and bunkers placed to challenge every level of golfer, rewards good course management.

Facilities are excellent. There's a driving range, the Kota Permai Golf Academy, a golf simulator, a pitching and chipping area and a putting green. The club also has a sauna, swimming pool, billiards, a fitness centre, and squash, badminton and table tennis. Golf carts, caddies and pull carts are available, walking is permitted, metal spikes are allowed and fivesomes are permitted. The dress code requires a collared shirt with sleeves.

Kota Permai's location in Shah Alam, close to the Klang Valley's main highways, makes it easy to reach from Kuala Lumpur, Subang and Klang.
