About The Bombay Presidency Golf Club
Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC), founded in 1927 as "The New Club Ltd." on reclaimed swamp land in Chembur, is one of Mumbai's oldest and most prestigious golf clubs. Originally designed by five-time British Open champion Peter Thomson, the 18-hole, par-70 course was redesigned in 2009 by Jeev Milkha Singh and Nelson & Haworth, blending Paspalum greens with Tifway fairways across 6,148 yards. Tight and demanding, with 7 water hazards and 43 bunkers, it remains a genuine test of precision, backed by a clubhouse with dining, a pool, and health club facilities.
