About Jagorawi Golf & Country Club - Old Course
The Old Course at Jagorawi Golf & Country Club is the original 18-hole, par-72 layout at this 45-hole complex on the Jakarta-Bogor toll road, designed by Peter Thomson and Michael Wolveridge and opened in stages starting in 1979. It plays to 6,587 yards from the back tees, or 6,023 meters from the blue tees, giving it a slightly different character from the club's newer layout.
The club describes the Old Course as demanding accuracy over distance, a classic parkland test that has matured over more than four decades since its first nine holes opened. Alongside the newer New Course and a nine-hole Z-Nine layout, it forms part of one of the largest golf complexes near Jakarta, and its mature trees and settled fairways give it a noticeably different feel from the club's more recently shaped New Course.
Members and visitors have access to the CIMB Niaga Golf Academy, a driving range, practice bunker and putting green. The resort/private facility also offers on-site lodging, a restaurant, spa and sauna for a complete golf getaway, letting golfers combine a round on this historic layout with an overnight stay.
An established course with four decades of history is worth experiencing for its character alone. With CoGolfers, golfers from Jakarta and Depok can connect with golfers near you, host golf games, or join golf games organized on the Old Course. Find golf partners for a classic round, build golf groups around this heritage layout, and enjoy social golf and golf networking whenever you want to play golf with other golfers near Depok. Pairing a round here with the club's New Course is a favorite way for CoGolfers members to spend a full golfing weekend.
