Yas Acres Golf & Country Club

Yas Acres Golf & Country Club made history in its first years. It became the first 9-hole layout to enter the Middle East's Top 25 golf course rankings. Designed by Dana Fry and Jason Straka and opened in 2021, it sits within the Yas Acres community on Yas Island, just 2.5 km from Yas Links.

The 9-hole, par-36 golf course measures about 3,700 yards from the black tees, and five tee options range from roughly 2,550 to 3,870 yards. Its signature feature is a 30-foot man-made ridge running through the property. It creates dramatic elevation changes on pure sand terrain, which is rare in Abu Dhabi. A system of lakes and streams brings water into play and supports native desert vegetation. The course is fully floodlit, so it's ideal for evening golf.

The country club is well equipped. There's a driving range, putting and chipping greens, golf instruction, a clubhouse restaurant, a swimming pool, a gym and tennis courts. The course is managed by Troon Golf, and visitors are welcome daily with advance booking.

For golfers living on Yas Island or visiting its theme parks and beaches, Yas Acres is a convenient and high-quality golf course. Play nine after work, or twice for an 18-hole round.

It's also a great setting for social golf. With CoGolfers, you can host golf games at Yas Acres for a floodlit evening round, invite members of the CoGolfers community or join golf games that others have posted. Find golf partners, meet golfers in Abu Dhabi and connect with golfers near you. Join the community to form golf groups and enjoy one of the region's best 9-hole courses with new golf buddies.
