Al Dhanna Golf Club

Al Dhanna Golf Club is one of the newest golf courses in the western region of Abu Dhabi. It opened in 2021 near Gate 5 in Al Ruwais, and gives golfers in the Al Dhafra region a modern, semi-private place to play.

It's a 9-hole golf course, and played twice as an 18-hole round it plays to par 72. The full round measures about 6,908 yards from the black tees, with a course rating of 73.3 and slope of 132, a proper championship-length test. Four tee options range down to about 5,460 yards from the reds, so golfers of every ability, men and women alike, can play comfortably.

Practice facilities include a driving range, a pitching and chipping area and a putting green, so it's a good venue for improving your game as well as playing. Walking is permitted, and the course is open year-round.

Ruwais is a long way from the golf hubs of Abu Dhabi city and Dubai, so Al Dhanna matters to the local golf community. It sits alongside Al Dhafra Golf Links as one of two options in the town.

That makes connecting with other players especially valuable. With CoGolfers, you can host golf games at Al Dhanna Golf Club and invite members of the CoGolfers community living or working in Ruwais, or join golf games that others have posted. You can find golf partners, meet golfers at your level and connect with golfers near you. Join the community to build a regular golf group and enjoy social golf with new golf buddies.
