About Watermill Golf Club & Gardens
Watermill Golf Club & Gardens was built in 1991 by the Dye Design team from the United States, with Jay Roberts Savastano of Dye Design leading the work. The result is a distinctive 18-hole, par-72 golf course at Khlong 14 in Ongkharak, Nakhon Nayok, north-east of Bangkok, and one that many golfers consider very special.
The standout is the 11th hole, which is surrounded by water on all sides. It's the kind of hole people talk about after the round, and it demands a committed, well-struck shot. Throughout the course, the Dye influence shows in the strategic design and the way hazards frame the targets.
Watermill offers four tee options. From the yellow tees it stretches to about 7,280 yards; the blues play around 6,610 yards, the whites about 6,200 yards and the reds roughly 5,670 yards. That range makes it suitable for serious golfers and casual players alike.
The property is much more than a golf course. A 72-room resort sits on site, along with a swimming pool, fitness centre, seminar room, karaoke, a bar and sports grounds for soccer and basketball. The restaurant serves Thai and European food, and there is a practice putting green. That makes Watermill a popular golf venue for corporate groups, golf societies and weekend trips.
It's also a great place for a golf group outing. On CoGolfers, you can host golf games at Watermill Golf Club & Gardens, organise a society day or weekend trip and invite members of the CoGolfers community. You can also join golf games posted by others, find golf partners and meet golfers from Bangkok and Nakhon Nayok. Join the community to connect with golfers near you and tackle that famous 11th hole with new golf buddies.
