About Impian Emas Golf & Country Club
Impian Emas Golf & Country Club is a nine-hole, par-36 course in Taman Impian Emas, Skudai, on the north-western side of Johor Bahru. Opened in 2004, the course was designed by Ron Fream together with Kevin Ramsey and David Dale.
The public parkland layout measures about 3,544 yards, or 3,240 metres, from the blue tees, so despite being a nine-hole course it is far from a pitch-and-putt. Two loops make a full round, and the compact routing means a quick game is possible before or after work. Golf is played year-round, and appropriate golf attire is required.
The club includes a driving range, a putting green and a teaching professional, which makes it a popular spot for practice as well as play. Golf carts and pull carts are available, clubs can be rented, and walking is allowed for those who prefer it. There is a restaurant and locker rooms in the clubhouse. Its location within a residential township makes it one of the more convenient places to play in the Skudai area.
Short, accessible courses like Impian Emas are perfect for regular social golf.
