Sandakan Golf & Country Club

Sandakan Golf & Country Club is a private 18-hole, par-72 course on North Road, a few miles outside Sandakan on Sabah's east coast. It is the town's main full-length course and functions as a full-service country club for its members.

The course measures about 6,823 yards (around 6,246 metres) from the men's tees and about 5,603 yards from the ladies' tees, a traditional 18-hole layout that rewards steady ball-striking. Visitors from outside the state will find it a practical place to play when travelling to Sandakan, which is also the gateway to the Kinabatangan River and Sepilok.

Golf carts, caddies and rental clubs are available, and the practice facilities include a driving range and putting green, with a teaching professional on hand. The clubhouse has locker rooms, a bar and restaurant, and the club offers swimming, billiards and tennis. Major credit cards are accepted.
