Templer Park Golf & Country Club

Templer Park Golf & Country Club on Jalan Rawang is set against the dramatic limestone outcrops of the Templer Park area north of Kuala Lumpur. Designed by Kentaro Sato with Japanese golf legend Masashi Ozaki and opened in 1991, it's one of the most scenic golf courses in Selangor.

The 18-hole, par-72 layout stretches to about 7,143 yards from the black tees, with blue (6,725), white (6,343) and red (5,480) tees for other golfers. Bermuda fairways and Satiti grass greens give good playing surfaces, and the natural setting of forest and limestone hills makes for a memorable round.

Facilities include a driving range, a pitching and chipping area, a putting green and a practice hole, along with a clubhouse with showers and locker rooms and food and beverage service. Golf carts, pull carts, caddies and club rental are available, walking is permitted and credit cards are accepted. The course is open year-round.

Templer Park is about 30 minutes from central Kuala Lumpur, making it a relaxing escape from the city for a morning round among the hills.
