About Royal Pahang Golf Club
Known locally as Kelab Golf Diraja Pahang, the Royal Pahang Golf Club on Jalan Padang Golf is one of Kuantan's established clubs. It opened in 1964 and was later upgraded from a nine-hole course into an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout designed by Ted Parslow and Geoff Parslow, set on around 126 acres of former swampland near the sea.
From the back tees the course plays to about 6,894 yards, with a course rating of 73.5 and a slope of 130, which makes it a solid test for low handicappers while multiple tee options keep it playable for everyone else. Coastal breezes and the low-lying setting shape how the holes play from day to day.
The club is semi-private and open to visitors. Golf carts, pull carts, caddies and rental clubs are available, and walking is permitted. There is a driving range for warming up and a halfway house for a break mid-round, while swimming and billiards are available for members and guests. Appropriate golf attire is required.
If you play in Kuantan, the Royal Pahang Golf Club is a natural place to gather a group. Use CoGolfers to host golf games here, invite players from the CoGolfers community, or join golf games that fit your tee time. Meet golfers in Kuantan, find golf partners for a competitive round and connect with golfers near you who share your love of the game.
