Mahkota Golf & Country Club

Mahkota Golf & Country Club, formerly known as Astana Golf & Country Club, lies at Km 13 on Jalan Sungai Lembing in Bandar Indera Mahkota, Kuantan. The 18-hole, par-72 parkland course opened in 1992 and was designed by Neil Crafter, with undulating terrain that presents a challenge for golfers of every level.

From the black tees it measures about 7,010 yards (6,410 metres), making it one of the longer courses in the Kuantan area. Fairways are a hybrid of TifEagle and Matrella grass, while the greens are Bermuda Tifdwarf. Walking is permitted, and caddies are available for players who want a guide around the course.

The practice facilities are comprehensive, with a driving range, bunker practice area and putting green, and instruction is available through the MGCC Golf Academy. The country club side includes a bar and lounge, a spa, locker rooms, a swimming pool, fitness centre, and courts for tennis, badminton and squash, as well as billiards. Credit cards are accepted.
