About Arima Country Club
Arima Country Club has operated near Sanda city, in the hills north of Kobe, since 1960, playing 6,738 yards from the blue tees across more than six decades of continuous history. The club takes its name from the nearby Arima Onsen hot spring district, one of Japan's oldest and most celebrated hot spring resorts, giving golfers a natural pairing of a round of golf with a soak in one of the country's most historic bathing towns. Sanda itself has grown into a well-regarded residential and recreational area on Kobe's northern fringe, offering a cooler, greener alternative to the dense city below. As one of the earlier clubs built in this corridor, Arima Country Club reflects the more traditional, tightly routed design approach typical of Japan's first wave of postwar golf construction. Its long operating history has allowed the course to mature into a genuinely established parkland setting. Golfers planning an Arima Onsen weekend through CoGolfers can add a round at Arima Country Club to that itinerary, and the community is a good place to find others combining golf with a hot spring getaway.
