Tamarin Golf & Footgolf Club

Tamarin Golf & Footgolf Club is a 9-hole, par-36 parkland resort course in Sambau, on the eastern side of Batam, designed by a team including Jack Nicklaus, Bruce Borland, Tom Peck and David Heatwole, and opened in 1995. The layout measures 3,501 yards from the back tees, a well-conditioned nine-hole test carrying real design pedigree.

As the name suggests, the club also offers footgolf alongside traditional golf, giving it a broader appeal for groups mixing golfers and non-golfers. The Nicklaus design pedigree brings a serious layout to this compact nine-hole format, and the footgolf option has made the club a popular choice for company outings that include non-golfing colleagues.

Golf carts and caddies are included in the green fee, and a teaching professional is available for lessons. The clubhouse offers a restaurant, lounge, conference and banquet facilities, along with showers and locker rooms, making it a practical venue for a group event that combines sport and dining.

A nine-hole Nicklaus-designed course with footgolf on the side offers something for the whole group.
