Padang Golf Sukajadi

Padang Golf Sukajadi is an 18-hole, par-72 semi-private parkland course in central Batam, designed by Peter Thomson, Michael Wolveridge and Ross Perrett, and opened in 2009, making it one of the newer courses on the island. The layout measures 6,915 yards from the black tees, or 6,340 meters, a substantial length reflecting its more modern design standards.

A 24-tee driving range gives ample room for practice, and the three-architect design brings a well-considered balance of challenge and playability to the layout. Its central Batam location makes it convenient for golfers without a long drive to the outskirts of the island, and the newer construction gives the course firmer, more consistent conditioning than some of Batam's older venues.

Golf carts and caddies are included in the green fee, and a teaching professional and putting green are available for lessons and practice. A restaurant and meeting facilities round out the clubhouse, suitable for both a casual round and a small corporate outing.

A modern, centrally located course like this is easy to fit into a Batam visit.
