About Pattimura Golf Course
Pattimura Golf Course is a 9-hole, par-35 parkland course in Laha, on Ambon island in Maluku province, one of the few golf courses anywhere in Indonesia's eastern spice islands. The front nine measures 2,354 yards, and the course can also be played as a full 4,708-yard, par-70 round by completing two loops, giving golfers the choice of a shorter session or a complete day of golf.
Ambon's history as the historic center of the spice trade, along with its scenic harbor setting, gives this course a genuinely off-the-beaten-path character for visiting golfers who make the trip out to Maluku. A driving range and putting green support practice before a round, and a golf simulator offers an indoor alternative when conditions outside aren't ideal.
Golf carts, pull carts and club rentals are all available for hire, along with a lounge and light snacks at the clubhouse. Walking is permitted for golfers who prefer a traditional round without a cart.
A course on the spice islands is a genuine discovery for traveling golfers. With CoGolfers, golfers visiting or based in Ambon can connect with golfers near you, host golf games, or join golf games other CoGolfers members have arranged. Find golf partners for a round in Maluku, build golf groups around this course, and enjoy social golf and golf networking whenever you want to play golf with other golfers in Ambon.
