Mumbai Golf Community

Golf in Mumbai is a study in contrasts — a game that demands space and quiet, played in a city that has very little of either. Clubs like [The Bombay Presidency Golf Club](https://cogolfers.com/golf-course/india/mumbai/the-bombay-presidency-golf-club) have held their ground for generations, and the golfers who play there tend to be loyal, patient, and hard to pin down for a casual round. The Mumbai Golf Community on CoGolfers exists to make that easier. Members can create or join golf games across the city, see who else is heading to the same course that weekend, and keep track of local tournaments without digging through scattered event pages. It's a single place to organize what used to depend on personal contacts and old club networks. The real value here is access. Mumbai's golf courses are limited and in demand, and tee times often go to those already inside an established circle. By joining this community, newer golfers — or those relocating to the city — get a faster way into that circle, while established players get a wider pool of partners beyond their usual four. Some practical etiquette: confirm your slot once you commit, be mindful of Mumbai's traffic when planning arrival times, and keep your profile updated with your actual handicap so games stay competitive and fair. The community isn't a marketplace, so steer clear of using it to advertise coaching services, gear, or memberships outside of genuine golf conversation. If you golf anywhere in Mumbai — South Bombay, the suburbs, or beyond — this is where the city's golfers are starting to organize. Better to be in it early than to keep playing the same four people.
