SAI Trivandrum Golf Club, formerly Trivandrum Golf Club, is one of India's oldest golf courses, established in the 1850s by the Maharaja of Travancore near Kowdiar in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram. The 9-hole, par-34 course, redesigned by Peter Thomson in the 1960s, winds through dense forest with over 1,000 tree and plant species, and its distinctive pagoda-style clubhouse dates back to 1893. Managed by the Sports Authority of India since 2014, it now hosts the SAI National Golf Academy, blending heritage charm with structured youth training, tournaments, and coaching programs throughout the year.
