Royal Springs Golf Course, commissioned in 2001 and designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course spread across 300 acres near Chashme Shahi, overlooking Dal Lake in Srinagar. Managed by JKTDC, this signature layout features undulating fairways, strategic bunkers, and elevation changes, including its famous par-3 5th hole with a panoramic Dal Lake view. Rated India's No. 1 golf course by Golf Digest and among Asia's most picturesque, it's home to a rare grove of cork oaks planted before 1947 and remains open to non-members with motorized golf carts recommended at altitude.
