Cosmopolitan Golf Club TNGF

Cosmopolitan Golf Club TNGF, run by the Tamil Nadu Golf Federation, is an 18-hole, par-72 course set on Mount Road in the heart of Chennai, spread across 90 acres. Inaugurated in 1938 and later redesigned by Peter Thomson, the 6,479-yard layout is affiliated with over 10 clubs across India and Malaysia. Tight front-nine fairways, two large water hazards, and dense stands of neem, banyan, and tamarind trees make for a genuinely testing round, while the open back nine offers relief. The club regularly hosts world-class tournaments and attracts VIPs, celebrities, and golfers from across the state.
