Bolgatty Golf Club

Bolgatty Golf Club, also called Cochin Golf Club, is one of India's oldest golf clubs, established in 1922 by British officials and businessmen around the historic Bolgatty Palace on Bolgatty Island. This nine-hole course, playable as 18 holes with different tees, is set amid the backwaters of Kochi with striking views of the city skyline and the Dutch-era palace. The clubhouse, built in 1923, retains its original colonial charm with wooden walls. Over the decades, the club has hosted notable figures including Mahatma Gandhi and several Indian Prime Ministers, adding to its rich heritage.
