Emerald Golf Club is a scenic 18-hole course in Ban Chang, Rayong, about an hour from Pattaya. Opened in 1995 and designed by Nick Faldo with Desmond Muirhead, the par-72 layout plays 6,628 yards and winds through lush, rainforest-style terrain with gently contoured fairways, volcano-shaped greens and strategic water hazards that reward driving accuracy over distance. The relaxed, open-air clubhouse reflects rural Thai life. Less crowded than Pattaya's famous courses, it offers great value. Facilities include a driving range, restaurant and club rental.
