About Joongwon Golf Club
Joongwon Golf Club is a 27-hole resort facility open to the public in Cheongju-si, North Chungcheong Province, opened in 2007 and built from three nine-hole loops named after Korea's ancient kingdoms — Baekje, Goguryeo and Silla — each playing to par 36. The Baekje nine stretches to 3,192 yards from the championship tees, and the three loops combine into different 18-hole pairings for a fresh round each visit.
The historical Three Kingdoms naming gives Joongwon a distinctive cultural identity among Cheongju's golf venues, and its resort status keeps it open to golfers without requiring a club membership.
Golf carts, pull carts, caddies, club rentals and a teaching pro are all available, along with a putting green, banquet facilities, sauna and locker rooms.
A public 27-hole resort with genuine character, Joongwon gives Cheongju golfers real variety. With CoGolfers, golfers in Cheongju-si can connect with golfers near you, host golf games, or join golf games other CoGolfers members have arranged. Find golf partners for a rotating round at Joongwon, build golf groups around this resort, and enjoy social golf and golf networking whenever you want to play golf with other golfers in Cheongju.
