IOI Club Sagil

IOI Club Sagil is a nine-hole, par-33 golf course on the Sagil Estate near Tangkak in north-western Johor, not far from Gunung Ledang and the border with Melaka. It is an estate-style club that serves the local plantation community and golfers from nearby towns such as Muar and Segamat.

The parkland course measures about 2,349 metres, making it one of the shorter nines in Johor. The par of 33 suggests a mix of short par 4s and par 3s, which puts a premium on iron play and putting rather than length. Two loops make a full round, and the course is a comfortable walk for those who prefer to play on foot.

For a small club, facilities are surprisingly broad. Golf carts, pull carts and caddies are available, clubs can be rented, and there is a driving range, a putting green and a teaching professional. The clubhouse has a restaurant and bar, and members can also enjoy swimming, a fitness room, tennis, table tennis, darts and billiards. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
