Daiman 18 Johor Bahru

Daiman 18 is a public 18-hole golf course in Taman Johor Jaya, a well-established township in the eastern part of Johor Bahru. Opened in 1996, it is one of the more accessible courses in the city, both in location and in the way it welcomes everyday golfers.

The course plays to a par of 71 and measures about 5,651 metres, or 6,507 yards, from the back tees, with a course rating of 68.9. That makes it slightly shorter than many of the championship layouts around Johor, and it rewards steady ball-striking and a good short game. Fairways are Zoysia matrella grass and the greens are Bermuda Tifdwarf. Walking is permitted, and golf carts are available for hire.

Daiman 18 has a driving range and a pro shop, as well as a restaurant and a clubhouse with locker rooms. The wider club facilities are extensive, covering swimming, tennis, badminton, squash, basketball, table tennis, billiards and bowling, so it doubles as a sports and family club for the surrounding neighbourhoods. Normal golfing attire is expected on the course.
