About Senibong Golf Club
Senibong Golf Club in Gelang Patah, near Iskandar Puteri and just off the Second Link Expressway to Singapore, is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course with a Pete Dye pedigree. The club was previously known as Poresia Country Club, a 36-hole facility of four nine-hole loops designed by Pete Dye with Perry Dye that first opened for play in 1990.
The venue has since been substantially renovated. According to Golfsavers, nine holes reopened first and the full 18-hole course opened in October 2020. The parkland layout is known among regular players for tight fairways and careful hole placement, and while it is not the longest course in Johor, it asks for accuracy more than distance.
Golfers can take caddies or golf carts, and the club offers practice facilities, golf lessons, club and shoe rental and a golf shop. Night golf is available, which is a big draw for players who want to tee off after the heat of the day. There is also on-site accommodation and spa and massage services.
Its position close to the Tuas crossing makes Senibong one of the quicker Johor courses to reach from western Singapore, as well as a convenient option for residents of Gelang Patah, Iskandar Puteri and Skudai.
With night golf on the menu, it suits after-work and evening social golf.
