Harvard Golf & Country Club

Harvard Golf & Country Club near Bedong is a 27-hole venue built on the Harvard estate close to Gunung Jerai. Its three nines, the Guthrie Nine, the Harvard Nine and the Jerai Nine, each play to par 36, so any 18-hole combination is a par-72 round. Hole19 notes that the club started as a 9-hole course and grew into the three-nine layout golfers play today.

The nines are similar in length: the Harvard and Guthrie nines both measure 3,492 yards from the blue tees, and the Jerai Nine plays to 3,424 yards. According to golf.com.my, the Guthrie Nine was designed by Bobby Lim and the Harvard Nine by Ted Parslow. Fairways are Bermuda Green Less Park 419 and greens are Bermuda Tifdwarf, and the estate setting keeps the course green and open.

The club has a driving range, a pitching and chipping area and a putting green, and carts, caddies and rental clubs are available. Walking is allowed. The club is linked to the Harvard Suasana Hotel, and off-course facilities include a cafe, meeting rooms, a swimming pool, billiards and a fitness area.
