Tenzan Country Club

Tenzan Country Club has operated as a private course in Taku since 1975, part of a small but notable golf cluster in this Confucian-shrine city in central Saga Prefecture. The 18-hole layout plays to a par of 72, with a course rating of 73.1 and slope of 123 from the back tees at 6,845 yards, and a shorter front-tee option at 6,198 yards broadens accessibility for a range of players. The club offers golf carts, caddies and club rentals, along with a driving range, putting green, on-site restaurant and full locker room facilities, and operates year-round. Tenzan's name references the nearby Mount Tenzan, one of Saga Prefecture's notable peaks, giving the club a scenic backdrop distinct from the flatter coastal courses in the region. As a private club, CoGolfers members hoping to play here are best served by arranging access through a local member connection. Taku's cluster of clubs, including the separately located Tenzan Country Club - North Course, Saga Classic and Within Style golf clubs, makes this small city a genuine golf hub within Saga Prefecture.
