About Padang Golf Adisutjipto
Padang Golf Adisutjipto, formerly known as Adisucipto Golf Club, is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course on the road between Yogyakarta and Solo, opened in 1972. The layout measures 6,500 yards from the black tees, or 5,945 meters, with a course rating of 72.3 and a slope of 135, respectable figures for a course of its vintage.
As one of the older courses in the Yogyakarta area, it has a settled, mature parkland character built up over more than five decades. A soft-spikes-only policy helps keep the greens in good condition for the club's regular players, and the mature trees lining several fairways are a direct result of that long history.
Golf carts, caddies, teaching professionals and a putting green are all available, along with an on-site restaurant. Walking is permitted for golfers who want a traditional round rather than riding, a popular choice given the course's relatively flat terrain.
An established course on the Yogya-Solo road is easy to combine with a road trip between the two cities.
