Dubai Hills Golf Club

Stand on the 5th tee at Dubai Hills Golf Club and the Burj Khalifa fills the horizon. That view alone tells you this is a modern course in the heart of the city. Dubai Hills opened in 2018 in Dubai Hills Estate, part of Emaar's Mohammed Bin Rashid City, about 15 minutes from central Dubai.

European Golf Design created the 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course, which measures about 7,220 yards. Valleys, wadis and lakes are its main defences, and the course flows naturally across a landscape shaped to feel far from the city around it. The 18th is a strong finishing hole, with water running along the right side of the fairway. The putting surfaces are exceptionally well kept, and the grass sprigs for the greens were reportedly grown in Augusta and shipped across the world to be replanted here.

The club is managed by Troon and ranks among the top ten golf courses in the UAE. Facilities include a driving range, golf academy, restaurants and club and shoe rental. It's open daily, and groups of up to four golfers can play.

Its central location makes Dubai Hills one of the most convenient championship golf courses in Dubai. It's easy to fit a round in before work, during a business trip or on a short city break.

That convenience is perfect for social golf. On CoGolfers, you can host golf games at Dubai Hills Golf Club and invite members of the CoGolfers community, or join golf games other players have set up. You can find golf partners, meet golfers in Dubai and connect with golfers near you. Join the community to form golf groups, set up regular games and enjoy skyline views with new golf buddies.
