About Bhumibol Dam Golf Course
Bhumibol Dam Golf Course in Yan Ri, Sam Ngao district, is the only golf course in Tak province. Set in forested hills near the Bhumibol Dam, it offers beautiful scenery and an undulating layout that golfers enjoy for both its views and its challenge.
The 18-hole, par-72 course offers three tee options. From the blue tees it measures about 6,520 yards; the whites play around 6,230 yards and the reds about 5,320 yards. The front nine is the longer half at around 3,400 yards, while the back nine is a little shorter, giving the round a natural rhythm.
The varied terrain means uphill and downhill lies and changing angles into greens, so shot-making and course management matter as much as distance. It's also a peaceful course, often described as a good place to practise your golf skills away from busy city clubs.
Because visitor details are limited, contact the course before your trip to confirm tee times and facilities. The dam area itself is a scenic attraction, making the trip worthwhile beyond golf.
