About Mountain Creek Golf Resort
Mountain Creek Golf Resort carries a famous name in its design: it was created by the late Seve Ballesteros, former world number one and five-time Major champion. The resort is located at Km 200 on Mittraphap Road in Lat Bua Khao, Sikhio, close to the scenic Lam Takhong Lake and Dam.
The golf course has 27 holes, split into three nines named Highland, Creek and Valley, which combine into par-72 layouts. The longest combination stretches to about 7,615 yards, making it one of the longest golf courses in Thailand. Ballesteros was known for creativity and imagination on the course, and the variety between the three nines gives golfers plenty to explore.
Mountain Creek is part of a larger, carefully planned development that includes a five-star hotel, spa facilities, an outdoor concert zone and a shopping centre. Golf club facilities include a driving range, practice putting green, pro shop, rental clubs, swimming pool, gym, tennis and a restaurant serving Thai and European food, with hotel and lodge accommodation on site.
Its location between Khao Yai and Korat makes it a convenient stop for golfers travelling through the region, and a worthwhile destination in its own right.
A 27-hole Seve Ballesteros design is a great reason to plan a group trip.
