Ekachai Golf & Country Club

Ekachai Golf & Country Club is a 27-hole golf course along Ekachai Road in Bang Nam Chuet, Samut Sakhon, across the Chao Phraya River from Bangkok. It's about 45 minutes by car from downtown via Route 35, making it one of the closer golf clubs for golfers in the capital's south-western suburbs.

The course is famous for its numerous water hazards, which require accurate shot-making throughout. Three nines combine into three par-72 courses: A & C at about 6,560 yards, A & B around 6,630 yards and B & C about 6,740 yards. Those moderate lengths mean you don't need to be a long hitter, but you do need to keep the ball out of the water.

Having three combinations keeps things fresh for regular players, and allows groups to play a different course on each visit.

Facilities include a restaurant serving Thai and European food, a swimming pool, a pro shop, rental clubs, showers and a practice putting green.
