About Gunsan Country Club
Gunsan Country Club is an 81-hole golf destination in Gunsan-si, North Jeolla Province, opened in 1996 and built from nine separate nine-hole loops — Buan, Jeonju, Lake, Iksan, Gimje, Sunchang, Namwon, Jeong-eup and Reed, each named after a different city or county across the wider Jeolla and Chungcheong region. Most nines play to par 36, with the Gimje nine at par 37, and the loops combine in countless pairings to give golfers an enormous range of possible 18-hole rounds.
With 81 holes on a single property, Gunsan Country Club is one of the largest golf destinations anywhere in South Korea, rivaling Incheon's Sky72 in scale, and its regionally-themed nine names give the resort a distinctive identity tying it to the wider Jeolla area.
Golf carts, pull carts, caddies, club rentals and a putting green are all available across the complex, along with a restaurant for a relaxed finish to any of the many possible rounds.
One of Korea's largest single golf destinations, Gunsan Country Club rewards repeat visits with near-endless variety.
