Universiti Utara Malaysia Golf Club

Universiti Utara Malaysia Golf Club, also listed as Kelab Golf Sultan Sallehuddin UUM, is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course on the Universiti Utara Malaysia campus at Sintok, in the north of Kedah. It opened in 2010 and is a public course, so it is open to visiting golfers as well as the university community.

The course plays to 6,823 yards from the Blue tees, with a course rating of 70.7 and a slope of 121. White tees at 5,918 yards and Red tees at 5,795 yards bring it within reach of higher handicappers. The fairways are cow grass, which is common on inland Malaysian courses and gives the layout a traditional parkland feel set within the green surroundings of the campus.

Practice facilities include a driving range, a bunker practice area, a pitching and chipping area and a putting green, and a golf school academy with teaching professionals offers lessons. Carts, pull carts and rental clubs are available and walking is permitted. Beyond golf, the wider facility lists swimming, riding, billiards, tennis and squash.
