Guthrie Golf & Country Club

Guthrie Golf & Country Club is a nine-hole, par-36 course at Ladang Ulu Remis near Layang-Layang in central Johor, set among the plantation country between Kulai and Kluang. It is a quiet, rural venue that serves the local estate community and golfers from the surrounding towns.

The parkland-style nine measures about 3,350 yards, which is a respectable length for a nine-hole course, and playing it twice from different tees makes for a full 18-hole round. Despite its size, the club is reasonably well equipped. The clubhouse has showers, lockers, a bar and a restaurant, and members can also use the swimming pool and billiards facilities. Walking is permitted, and Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
