Villea Rompin Resort & Golf

Villea Rompin Resort & Golf, formerly Lanjut Beach & Golf Resort, is an 18-hole, par-72 resort course at Kampung Lanjut in Kuala Rompin, about 130 km south of Kuantan. It is the only golf course in Kuala Rompin and sits beside a 3.5-kilometre sandy beach on Pahang's east coast, with tropical rainforest framing the holes.

The course was designed by Lu Liang Huang and later redesigned by Ted Parslow. It stretches to about 6,295 metres from the back tees, with a course rating of 71.2 and a slope of 117. Fairways are defined by large trees, free-form bunkers are generous in size, and the greens are big, undulating and quick. Gusty sea breezes, especially in the late afternoon, can change the character of the round considerably.

Golfers have access to a driving range, putting green and teaching professional, along with a clubhouse, locker rooms and buggy service. Walking is permitted. As part of a beach resort, the property also has a swimming pool, lounge, and meeting and banquet facilities, making it a practical choice for golf getaways and corporate outings.
