Orna Golf & Country Club

Orna Golf & Country Club is a 27-hole resort course in the Bemban area of Jasin district, designed by Andy Dye and opened in 1997. The Melaka tourism portal notes that it sits about seven minutes from the North-South Highway and is known for its distinctive clubhouse architecture.

The course is laid out as three nines, East, West and North, each par 36, so an 18-hole round is par 72. From the black tees the East nine measures 3,605 yards and the West 3,718 yards, giving a full round of well over 7,000 yards for those who choose to play it all the way back; Blue, White and Red tees shorten it considerably. Fairways are Bermuda 419 grass and the greens Tifdwarf.

Orna has its own golf school with teaching professionals, a driving range and putting green, and club rentals. The clubhouse has a restaurant and banquet facilities, and members and guests can also use a swimming pool, fitness centre, billiards and tennis courts.

With easy highway access from Melaka town and from the Seremban side, Orna works well for golfers meeting from different directions.
