Kelab Golf Bukit Besi

Kelab Golf Bukit Besi is an 18-hole, par-72 course on the Jerangau-Jabur highway at Bukit Besi, an inland town in Terengganu's Dungun district. Opened in 1998, the semi-private course is surrounded by tropical scenery and offers a quieter alternative to the courses along the coast.

From the Blue tees the course measures 6,150 metres, with White tees at 5,717 metres and Red tees at 5,205 metres. Hole19 describes bunkers placed across the course and undulating fairways, so the layout rewards careful placement over sheer distance. Golf is available year-round.

Carts are available and walking is permitted, and there is a driving range and a teaching professional on hand for lessons and warm-ups. The clubhouse offers refreshments after the round. The three sets of tees mean couples, mixed-ability groups and regular fourballs can all play the same course comfortably, and the inland location keeps the round away from the coastal traffic of the main east coast road.
