About Bentong Golf Club
Bentong Golf Club is a nine-hole, par-36 parkland course on Jalan Tras, a short drive from Bentong town in western Pahang. Opened in 1970, it is one of the long-standing community clubs of the district and offers a relaxed, unpretentious game close to home.
The front nine measures around 3,361 yards from the back tees, with the white and yellow tees playing to about 3,329 yards, and golfers can go around twice for an 18-hole round of roughly 6,700 yards. Fairways are laid with cow grass, a common choice on Malaysian parkland courses, and there are separate men's and women's tee options. Walking is permitted, which suits golfers who like to keep a quick pace on a compact layout.
Facilities are practical rather than lavish. Golf carts, pull carts and caddies are available, clubs can be rented, and there is a putting green for warming up. Showers, locker rooms and snacks round out the offer, making it an easy stop for an early-morning round before the day begins.
Because it is a small local club, Bentong Golf Club works well for casual games with friends. On CoGolfers you can create a game here and invite golfers in Bentong, or join golf games hosted by other members of the CoGolfers community. It is a straightforward way to connect with golfers near you, find golf partners for a quick nine and grow a friendly local golf group.
