Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club

Spread across roughly 400 acres near Ayer Keroh and Bukit Katil, Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes with water features and tropical landscaping throughout, according to the Melaka tourism portal. The layouts are credited to Nelson & Haworth, with Rodney Wright and Mark Miller, and the Lake nine opened in 1994.

The three nines, Lake, Meadow and Woodland, are each par 36, giving 18-hole combinations of par 72. The Woodland nine stretches to 3,292 metres (about 3,600 yards) from the black tees, and the Lake nine to 3,107 metres, with four sets of tees from black down to red, so the course can be set up for strong players and beginners alike. As the names suggest, the nines alternate between water-guarded holes, more open meadow holes and tree-lined woodland holes.

The club is a full country club. Golfers have a driving range, practice areas, a putting green, teaching professionals, caddies, club rentals and carts, and walking is permitted. The clubhouse has a restaurant, bar and banquet facilities, and there is a sauna and jacuzzi, swimming pool, gymnasium, pro shop, and tennis and squash courts.
