Green Academy Country Club

Green Academy Country Club is located in Shirakawa, a city in southern Fukushima known as a gateway between the Kanto and Tohoku regions. The 18-hole, par-72 course serves golfers traveling along this corridor, offering a convenient stop for those moving between Tokyo and points further north in Tohoku. Shirakawa's location near the Nasu highlands gives the course pleasant surroundings and a climate that's a touch cooler than the Kanto plain to the south. The club provides a solid, traditional round of golf for both local members and travelers passing through the area, with the kind of attentive service typical of Japanese country clubs. Shirakawa hosts a notable concentration of golf courses given its position along a popular travel route, and Green Academy Country Club is one of several worth considering for golfers planning a stop in the area. For CoGolfers members road-tripping between Kanto and Tohoku, this course offers an easy way to break up the journey with a round of golf and a chance to meet local golfers. The CoGolfers platform makes it simple to find co-players in the Shirakawa area, whether you're passing through for a single round or planning a longer stay to explore the several golf clubs clustered around this part of southern Fukushima.
