Tsukumo Golf Course

Tsukumo Golf Course, established in 1974 in Sasebo, offers a semi-private nine-hole course that plays to a par of 36 across 3,220 yards from the blue tees, with a course rating of 35.3 and slope of 99, making it one of the more approachable rounds in the Sasebo golf scene. The club offers golf carts, pull carts and club rentals, along with a driving range, putting green and teaching pro instruction — a useful resource for golfers looking to improve their game during their visit. A restaurant and locker rooms round out the clubhouse, and the course permits walking while operating year-round. Tsukumo's shorter nine-hole format and on-site teaching pro make it a good option for beginners or golfers looking for a lesson alongside a relaxed round. For CoGolfers members in the Sasebo area looking for a lower-key golf outing than the city's larger 18-hole clubs offer, Tsukumo Golf Course provides an accessible, instructional-friendly option well suited to newer players or a quick nine holes between other activities.
