About New Karumai Country Club - Birch/Seven Oaks/Cherry Blossom Courses
New Karumai Country Club, designed by Mitsuaki Kobayashi and opened in 1991, is a resort facility in Karumai, Iwate Prefecture built around three nine-hole loops — Birch, Seven Oaks, and Cherry Blossom — that combine into three separate 18-hole routings, for 27 holes in total. Yardages across the combinations range from roughly 6,974 to 7,160 yards, with course ratings up to 74.9 and a slope of 131, giving accomplished golfers a serious test. The club provides golf carts with GPS, caddies, golf clubs, a driving range, and teaching professionals, along with indoor practice areas, and operates seasonally from April through December. With three nines to mix and match, New Karumai gives golfers meaningful variety across repeat visits. Golfers in the Karumai area can use CoGolfers to find co-players for any of the three combinations here and connect with Iwate Prefecture's golf community.
