About Appi Kogen Country Club - Hachimantai/Mt. Iwate/Ryugamori/Towada Courses
Appi Kogen Country Club, built in 1978, is a substantial woodland resort facility in Hachimantai, Iwate Prefecture, made up of four nine-hole loops — Hachimantai, Mt. Iwate, Ryugamori, and Towada — that combine into six different 18-hole routings across the property, for 36 holes in total. Bent grass greens are consistent throughout, and yardages across the various combinations range from roughly 6,522 to 7,010 yards from the blue tees. The club provides golf carts, caddies, club rentals, a driving range, restaurant, and locker rooms, and operates seasonally from April through November. Multiple tee options accommodate golfers across a wide range of abilities despite the resort's overall length and elevation. With four nines to mix and match across six possible pairings, Appi Kogen rewards golfers who return for repeat visits. CoGolfers members visiting the Appi Kogen resort area can use the platform to find co-players for any of the routings here and connect with the golf community across Iwate Prefecture.
