About Gunung Geulis Country Club - East Course
Gunung Geulis Country Club's East Course is an 18-hole, par-71 resort layout designed by Michael Wolveridge and Thomson Perret, opened in 1994 near Gadog on the road between Bogor and Puncak. The course measures 6,065 meters from the black tees, with a course rating of 73.0 and a slope of 138, respectable figures for a resort-style layout at this elevation.
The club operates two full 18-hole courses, East and West, at the same hillside location, giving members and visitors 36 holes to choose from in one visit. The East Course is known for its resort-style layout that makes the most of the surrounding highland scenery, with several holes offering views back toward the Bogor valley below.
Green fees include cart use, and caddies and club rentals are also available, along with a driving range. The club runs its own golf school and academy with a teaching professional, and the clubhouse offers a restaurant and lounge for relaxing after the round, a welcome stop given the cooler temperatures at this elevation.
A highland course on the road to Puncak is a scenic escape from Jakarta's heat. With CoGolfers, golfers making the trip toward Bogor and Puncak can connect with golfers near you, host golf games, or join golf games arranged on the East Course. Find golf partners for a highland round, build golf groups around this resort club, and enjoy social golf and golf networking whenever you want to play golf with other golfers near Bogor.
