About Lagan Hill Golf Club
Lagan Hill Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course at a Pertamina oil refining facility in Pangkalan Berandan, Langkat Regency, opened in 1972. The layout measures 6,106 yards from the back tees, built to serve the local refinery community and surrounding area, and remains one of the oldest continuously operating courses in North Sumatra outside Medan itself.
As one of several Indonesian golf courses with roots in the oil and gas industry, Lagan Hill offers a genuine local golfing experience away from the resort courses closer to Medan. A golf simulator and indoor practice facilities are available for practicing regardless of the weather, a practical addition given Langkat's tropical rainfall patterns.
Club rentals and bar service are available at the clubhouse, and walking is permitted throughout the round, in keeping with the course's traditional, community-oriented character.
A course tied to North Sumatra's oil industry history offers something different for visiting golfers. With CoGolfers, golfers in the Langkat area can connect with golfers near you, host golf games, or join golf games other CoGolfers members have arranged. Find golf partners for a round in Pangkalan Berandan, build golf groups around this course, and enjoy social golf and golf networking whenever you want to play golf with other golfers near Langkat. Its refinery-town setting gives it a distinctive backstory to share with new golf buddies through the CoGolfers community.
