Naldehra Golf Course

Naldehra Golf Course, founded in 1905 by Lord Curzon, Viceroy of India, is one of India's oldest golf courses, set on natural meadows about 22 km from Shimla. Originally a six-hole layout, it grew into a par-68 course spanning 4,285 yards, sitting at 2,200 meters amid deodar and cedar forests with Himalayan views. Curzon fell so in love with the spot he named his daughter Alexandra Naldehra after it. Maintained by Himachal Tourism, the course welcomes both serious golfers and casual visitors for a nominal fee, with the Mahunag Temple, Golf Glade hotel, nearby adding to the experience.
