Lidder Valley Pahalgam Golf Course
Location: Pahalgam, India
Lidder Valley Golf Course, also known as Pahalgam Golf Course, 18-hole course set at 7,250 feet on the banks of the Sheeshnag tributary of the Lidder River, spread across 142 acres. Renovated and reopened in 2011, the 7,000-yard layout was designed by Ranjit Nanda, with water in play on six holes and changing elevation that rewards accuracy over distance. Surrounded by pine forests and snow-capped Himalayan peaks about three hours from Srinagar, it's open to members and non-members alike, making it one of the most scenic and accessible high-altitude courses in Kashmir. Few places blend golf and scenery quite like Pahalgam.
